Privacy-first guides to operate your perimeter.

Short, practical walkthroughs for the three things you'll do first — upload files, secure your contacts, and take custody of recovery. Every guide keeps the same rule: encrypt before it leaves your device.

01

Upload files to your vault

Files are encrypted on your device before they ever reach SecureIDsafe. The platform stores ciphertext only, so a full server breach yields nothing usable. Here's the privacy-first way to add documents.

  1. 01

    Open the Vault module

In your dashboard, select Vault from the sidebar. This is your sealed storage area — every brick here is encrypted with your device-derived key.

  2. 02

    Drag or select a file

Use the upload zone to drag in a document, image, or archive, or browse your device. The file is encrypted locally before upload, so plaintext never touches the network.

  3. 03

    Let the shimmer settle

A brief encryption status shows the brick being sealed. Once it reads 'protected' and 'encrypted', the file exists only as ciphertext on the platform.

  4. 04

    Export a sovereign copy (optional)

Use the export tool to download an encrypted bundle you keep on your own hardware. This is your offline backup — independent of any provider.

02

Secure your contacts

Your address book holds the relationships that matter most — the lawyers, banks, and business professionals you communicate with securely. Sealing contacts under the same perimeter keeps that map private too.

  1. 01

    Open the Contacts module

Select Contacts from the dashboard sidebar. Every record here is encrypted like the rest of your vault, not stored in a third-party sync you don't control.

  2. 02

    Add a trusted contact

Add the name, email, phone, and notes for someone you communicate with securely. Reserve this book for people you trust — not marketing subscriptions or mass lists.

  3. 03

Keep it to your trusted circle

Pair your secure contacts with SecureChat. The people you exchange private, encrypted messages with live here — sealed inside your SecureIDsafe perimeter, not in an everyday inbox.

  4. 04

    Edit or remove anytime

Updates are encrypted on your device before they're saved. Removing a contact deletes its encrypted record — there's no cached plaintext left behind.

03

Set up your recovery seed

Recovery is the part most providers get wrong — they keep a back door 'just in case.' SecureIDsafe uses a non-bypassable 24-word seed derived on your device. Only you can resurrect your data.

  1. 01

    Complete the Genesis Ritual

During setup you'll walk through a security briefing, then generate your seed phrase. Read the walkthrough fully — it explains why this step can't be skipped or reset by support.

  2. 02

    Write your seed offline

Write all 24 words on paper and store it somewhere only you control — a safe or a sealed envelope. Never save it to a cloud note, email draft, or screenshot.

  3. 03

    Confirm the phrase

You'll be asked to confirm key words to prove you recorded it. This verification is what locks the recovery path to you and no one else.

  4. 04

    Keep it offline, forever

If you ever lose access, the seed is the only way back. There is no email reset, no SMS code, and no operator override — that's the guarantee. Lose the seed and no one, including us, can restore your data.

One rule across every guide: encrypt before it leaves your device.

That's the entire privacy-first operating model. Upload, contact, and recover with the same posture — and the platform never holds what it can't decrypt.
